Rania Hammoud is a passionate educator and curriculum leader dedicated to making history education more inclusive and meaningful for all students. As the K-12 Curriculum Coordinator for Social Studies, World Language, and School Climate at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, she works to ensure that diverse perspectives are embedded in the curriculum, helping students connect with history in relevant and thought-provoking ways. Rania has led professional learning on teaching hard history, facilitating critical conversations, and creating culturally responsive classrooms. She also supports student programs that encourage dialogue and understanding, such as Religious Diversity Journeys and Youth Dialogues on Race and Ethnicity. With a deep belief in the power of education to shape a more just society, Rania is committed to equipping teachers with the tools they need to bring diverse histories to life in the classroom.
