About me
Ruth Le is an educator, coach, and project manager. She was born and raised in Boston, MA and earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California and master’s in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. Ruth spent nearly a decade teaching high school students with disabilities in Los Angeles and coaching educators in New York City on inclusive teaching practices. Currently at Detroit Disability Power, she manages consulting programs providing disability justice training and collaborates with organizations on inclusive policies for housing advocacy and voting rights. A daughter of refugees, Ruth’s value for intersectionality and inclusion comes from the belief that no one is free until everyone is free. Ruth believes in storytelling and social emotional learning as pathways to growth.
